Ivan Hin-Kwai LEE
Mr. Lee joined Bull Capital in April 2018 and is based in Hong Kong. He is a Licensed Representative of Bull Capital’s Hong Kong office, licensed with the SFC.
Mr. Lee brings a unique combination of deep technical expertise and strategic investment experience. He began his career in 1997 as a semiconductor design engineer in Silicon Valley, spending over 13 years in high-tech product development, marketing, and business development in the US. He held senior engineering and product roles at NeoMagic and Nuelight Corp., contributing to cutting-edge technologies including graphic accelerators, mobile video processors, and advanced OLED display. This hands-on R&D experience enables him to assess complex engineering challenges and identify the true potential of early-stage deep-tech ventures.
Mr. Lee earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson and moved into investment banking, joining the investment arm of Analysys International (Eguan) in Beijing in 2010, where he was promoted to lead the group in 2011. He sourced over a thousand deals and completed numerous capital raising and M&A projects across the TMT sector in China. Prior to joining Bull Capital, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at i-Sprint Innovations, where he architected an award-winning IoT product traceability solution, authored all related patents, and forged strategic partnerships with global manufacturing leaders.
Mr. Lee has 29 years of high-tech industry experience spanning the US and China. He holds multiple invention patents awarded or pending in both countries, an MBA from UCLA, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
